What a fantastic service from Blake & Squires! Our car needed a new airbag and they put themselves out to find a cost effective replacement. The work was completed quickly and we had a clear explanation of what had been done and why. Exceptionally friendly and helpful, very highly recommended!

Blake & Squires were so helpful today. I was struggling to find a garage to help me with an engine management light.They were so kind to fit my car in for them to check it and even completed an MOT for me. I find Paul to be honest and helpful. He was able to squeeze my car in for a job that another garage said could only be done via the main dealer. Although tricky Paul said it took 15 minutes and charged £30 (where else do you get charged less than £50) I would highly recommend Blake & Squires.
Untrustworthy. My poor mum took her car for an MOT here. It was fine when it went in and passed. She brought the car home and the next day, when she went to drive the car, red lights came on, and it started driving badly/making noises. She called the garage owner, who said it had nothing to do with them and that they couldn’t see the car for another two weeks, but that she was fine to keep driving it (she didn’t). My mum managed to speak to a mechanic who works for the owner as well as someone who works for the AA and both said this sometimes happens after a MOT emissions test, but that it’s fine to drive as long as it’s petrol (unfortunately it’s diesel). My mum is a palliative care nurse who sometimes drives 100 miles a day and no longer has a safe car to use. The garage isn’t accepting any responsibility and has now quoted her more than £200 to replace the fuel injector they clearly damaged. She’ll of course take the work elsewhere. Be warned.
Managed to fit me in the same week when I realised my MOT was due to expire - they were really busy too! Very helpful and informative chap explained a couple of minor advisories. Thanks to Blake & Squires, my MOT remained continuous. Very impressed!
Professional and very helpful staff. I had a problem with my car and have been trying few other garages but they all said there is nothing they can do about it. Happily Blake & Squires has fixed my car very quickly and for very cheap price. Easy access, very good hourly rate, solid and reliable. Highly recommend!
