John (the boss) is a sound guy but this chippy is very hit & miss, especially now with the newer staff. Sometimes it’s lush but other times (like tonight) you sit and wonder why you paid for it. £7 for this kebab “wrap”…. It’s just a mess. Why can’t they actually wrap the wrap? I’ve got garlic sauce everywhere. A few strands of cold kebab sitting with the hot chips. But the take-home comment for this is that THE WRAPS ARENT WRAPPED. Am I the only person who is baffled here? The garlic sauce is lovely and the chips are nice. The meat would probably be ok if it was of a decent temp.
Amazing food and really good prices. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s in the area. The staff were also very friendly
Despite many staff, they still can't manage to organise and serve. Thought I'd call past and get a pizza but stood there waiting whilst 4 people managed to call in and have fish cooked fresh and get served even before my pizza was done.
I've lost count now of how many times I've decided to try them again. I'm now at the point of leaving a review and not giving them any more chances.

definitely never again. Was persuaded to try again. Ordered 2 pizzas and they are soaken greasy mess. Having to try and fry to salvage something edible.
I got a Donna kebab the salad was nice but the meat was greasy and hard to chew I think I got the remains left in the pan staff ar lovely
Came all the way from Sunderland try this fish and chip shop out and safe to say it was unreal. The staff were very friendly. Keep it up guys????
