A great place to visit....
It has a remarkable beer garden and great service....
Its the staff who make the place great, Mel & little Molly are simply the best X
Mark is the best landlord because he is very relaxed and let's his customers enjoy a nice quiet pint. The pub always has various events throughout the year and they also donate to a couple of local charities such as the Shannon Bradshaw Trust which I happen to be a trustee for Shannon Bradshaw Trust.
I find the pub is very busy at weekends and everyone is friendly. Highly recommend this pub to friends and my customers.
A great "Wet" pub (no meals), an old fashioned place that does not have music "blaring out", rather gives the opportunity for customers to talk. They have a great facility in a beer garden which is put to great use in the summer. You can get the usual Quiz Night, Karaoke Night and view the sports on one of 4 screens.
Positives: Nice pub, really friendly staff and great bar prices. Negatives: When I went into use the toilet three young men were taking drugs in there and given its illegal not to mention a family pub I feel I cannot go there with my children as I would not like my young son to walk into such a thing in the toilets.
Good selection of beers, spirits and ciders. Something there for everyone, Tuesday quiz, Thursday karaoke, sports shown daily. Mark and Jacqui have various events on, check with the pub for details but they've had a bullseye competition, Mr and Mrs quiz and even fire walking. Never a dull moment.....
In Warrington on other business and drove past the black horse, which looked lovely from the outside. Very clean and welcoming pub. Service excellent and friendly.
We had a delicious baguette whilst watching the game on a big tv (of which there are multiple).
Would definitely recommend!
Great range of beers and wines on offer superb beer garden.
The Blackhorse is the oldest pub in Warrington 1628 I think. Amazing decor inside great atmosphere loads of big screens to watch all sports
