My boyfriend had never tried orange chips so I googled where did the best orange chips in the Black Country and this place was the top result. So we took the gamble and drove 40 minutes to this shop and they did not disappoint! The service was great and the food was divine! I had a cone of orange chips, mushy peas, gravy and a scallop and my boyfriend had mixed doner meat and chips. Our portions were really generous and cooked fresh in front of us. We saw an advert for deep fried baby bells so of course we had to try them and they were amazing too! We will absolutely be making the pilgrimage again! Can’t wait for the next time ????????
We ordered a managers special share box and asked for us to have battered sausages rather then sausages and was abruptly told no can't do this even though the order just before us was able to change the 2 sausages to 2 battered sausgaes, we also ordered the loaded fries and the toppings was wrong and no cheese sauce on any of them.
Great chippy this,i ordered cod orange chips and curry sauce x2 staff so friendly fish cooked to order staff always friendly chippy really clean

UPDATE - Dean (owner) contacted me and provided a refund. He also provided a freshly cooked mini fish and chip, which was at the standard I originally expected and was enjoyable. Thank you.
We ordered for 4 last night and the fish was all batter. Hardly any fish and what bit there was it didn't taste nice. When prices are increasing a £26 takeaway is a treat and should be edible.

Here is an old hometown re-visit that has been worthy every single time of my service. The staff are ever so pleasant, great with communication and orders, the quality in their food and overall, personally, my experience was ever so delightful. Thank you to the lady that served me, gem!

Food was incredible, as it has always been, but must say it looked fantastic. Batter on the fish was so light and crisp, the chips were done perfectly too, food wasn't unpleasantly greasy, tastes and textures were exceptional.
I've always spoken highly of BCC to family and friends and today really had my company pleased. "they're really setting the standard" came from the partners relative, who has never experienced the wonder of orange battered chips before, or a kebab meat with those chips especially done this good!
If I can't convince you enough to visit here and give it a go, the deals and the stores design are eye catchers! - really recommend you check the family board deals, wow! With rising prices, BCC here in Great Bridge, is one truly stuck to my heart.

Ordered a large mixed meat with chips in the evening and purposely didn’t eat in the day as was looking forward to it. I noticed when I woke up stomach cramps. Thought nothing of it, but 3 days later my stomach is in chronic pain now as well as experiencing fever, diarrhoea all being Gastroenteritis. Never had a problem before from this place as it’s my local, but this experience has put me off all takeaways now. Really disappointed and will not be returning sadly.
This Saturday I went to the shop and ordered large fish for two but was handed a small fish .When I asked the lady she instead of apologising said she gave me large. I had to order two more as it was too small. No salt on chips. The batter was too thick so sticked to paper.. tasteless fish. The food quality has gone down. Won’t be buying fish again there. Only chips were ok. Disappointed as I paid 6.40 something each fish.
What can I say ! hands down the best battered orange chips I have ever had (and ive tried a few!) service was quick and staff was so friendly and helpful , lot of chippy's out there , trust me this is number 1
