This is a lovely little wood with a free car park. It has a couple of picnic benches by the river and if you're lucky you may catch a glimpse of a Kingfisher! No facilities here but still worth a visit as you can walk alongside the river. Some of the pathway along the river has been blocked off for private fishing only so only a short river walk unfortunately. The woods are great and have sturdy pathways throughout, steep at times but I think that always leads to a great view. Have a super walk! ????☯️

Beautiful little Spot

Great place for a picnic, walk in the woods and slash in the river

Plenty of space and a handy parking spot for Hustyn Woods, Bishops Woods and Grogley just up the road. A couple of picnic benches here too if your doing and all day ride in the woods.

Lovely little car park, with benches to use for picnics. Will definitely be returning here in the summer.

Some great trails although not for the inexperienced. Cycled from here to hystens wood which had some easier trails.
