Good Service Station. All usual amenities for food and drink. Very clean toilets. Ideal for a journey break.
Nice enough place just a pity after a long hard day's work all you want is a shower but the cleaner chooses to lock the shower doors leaving a few open just so they don't need to clean them again it is totally unacceptable you charge £39 for a hgv to park and then you have to wait over an hour to get a free shower that isn't even clean as so many drivers are using them . WELCOME BREAK SORT IT OUT
I parked for less than 2h and it took some time to manoeuvre an artic among many incorrectly parked other artics on an almost full HGV parking area. Total time between entry and exit: 2h19m. Result? PCN of £100, just as if I stayed for up to 24h without payment. Apparently charging every lorry more than £30 a night out of pure greed is not enough for them. There is even no way to appeal and no sense to go to court as their CCTV is used only to charge drivers, not to protect them or anything else. Well, lesson learned! Disgusting, you should be ashamed of yourself.

It's a motorway service area. Food outlets inside, no dogs allowed.
There's not much seating by the main entree ance but there are picnic tables to the right, and to the left by the coach parking area. To the left is also some grass for dogs and children.
Not many rubbish bins if you choose to buy food from the shopd and eat outside but they seem to be emptied periodically.
Getting out was a nightmare with three queues merging into two then exiting onto the roundabout via traffic lights. Be prepared to go around all the way if you can't get in the left lane and are heading north.
The design of this welcome break is totally wrong. We have been queuing to get out of here for nearly an hour. No one to assist the traffic system at all. Avoid using this if you are in a rush as you definitely won’t be getting anywhere in a hurry
Awful layout. On a busy roundabout with traffic lights, it's nightmare getting in and out. When it's busy it's a job to get parked and if you do it's hard to get out of a space as it was gridlocked with traffic trying to get on to the roundabout. Just called in for the toilet and it took half an hour to get in and out. Needs more parking, rather than giving it up to drive through coffee shops! It's too small to serve both directions on M11 now. Perhaps some of the extra money made on expensive goods could be reinvested. Avoid!!
Parking is a nightmare. Always ques getting a space and getting out of bays. Trying to get out of the services and on to the round about will roughly take 20 minutes. This is not a rare event as I have to use them on a regular basis. Would try and plan your route to avoid if possible.
