The heart of Beverley, set amongst thriving pubs, cafés and shops. I've been many times but was there on Sunday for the memorial bike ride for the Hairy Biker, Dave Myers. The place was, naturally, a-throng with motorbikes and bikers, despite Storm Kathleen muttering and menacing. Great turnout. Great tribute. Some gorgeous classic bikes. In my element. Wonderful. Well done chaps and chap-esses and RIP Dave.
Saturday market in the centre of Beverley is a good market. There is a good variety of food stalls and lots of other Traders selling all kinds of things from clothes to dog beds. You'll never know what you're going to find. During the week it is a good sized car park, although a few spaces have been lost by coffee shops putting tables on the parking spaces. There are lots of pubs and cafes around the edges of the market it's a great place to visit. Once a year on a Wednesday night in June there is a classic car show attracting hundreds of cars and thousands of visitors.
Fantastic Christmas Market The crowds were friendly there was variety of stalls well organised.will put Beverly on my list to visit again
Beverley is a wonderful town and the market is fab. Particularly the cheese Merchant at the southern end. Next to Toll Gavel. Oh wow. The stick toffee pudding cheese is to die for.
The one let down. The woman selling tea towels and other linen who refused a Scottish bank note. Someone who says, “I don’t mean to cause offence” usual does end up doing so.
Only photos are of the minster which looks stunning. Sadly (and I get why) no dogs allowed in so a view from the entrance.

It was very quiet today and only a few stalls. We bought a nice variety of flavoured cheeses and a pair of winter leggings. Unfortunately it is always more expensive than buying in the shops or even on line!
Had a run out as we popped into Hull, Beverley was a surprise, didn't think it was going to be as big as it was, the market was fantastic, lots of different stalls, great bargains to be had, even very bespoke items too
Nice little town.With its own Minster.Enough shops to entertain with its own Weatherspoons. A must go is the white horse pub ..pretty old and stills runs on gaslight! The star of Beverley is the 'Beverley Arms hotel'. Simply superb.Friendly professional staff.Superb food. A tad expensive but you get what you pay for and this was a rare treat.
