Family birthday meal, delicious selection of well cooked meats and vegetables. Patient, friendly staff(there was lots of kids in our group.
I had Sunday lunch here today. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were lovely. I will be returning here for sure.
This is the second year that Harold and I have visited for a Sunday lunch. I have never had better anywhere anytime. Absolutely excellent Sunday carvery. Best to book in advance. Sometimes and occasionally a walk-in is available.
The only place in town where you can catch all the live football, cricket and rugby, play a game of pool for just 20p, and enjoy cheap premium lager. Ran by two lovely publicans who also put on a great carvery each week.
Great local pub, if you play darts, pool or cards, this is the place to be. Excellent Sunday carvery and function room for your party, buffet at a reasonable price.
Best Sunday carvery in the area. Choice of 5 roast meats and 8 veg - all beautifully cooked. Will definitely call again. Hope they'll soon serve weekday food too!
