I wasn’t delighted with services, food and prices they asking. Tables look good and appearance of restaurant isn’t bad but to competitive in the area to certain standards it will require a bit more tlc and proper fresh cooking. Especially when nearby competitors do really well and food is much tastier.
The quality of food was good. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The price is on average and the furniture is all right. The service was fine, just a bit of lack of ambient / positivity in the atmosphere.
We had 5 starters, 2 mains, 2 bottles of sparkly water for ~70£. The portions were enough for 3 persons.
Not the ideal location for the business but food is still good.
Popped in after visiting Harrods, it's very close by. The restaurant was very friendly and helpful, and the food great and good value. My niece was tired and tamtrummy, the waitress gave her a few baklava and it cheered/quietened her straight away! A big thumbs up from us all.
Simply awful.
Food: Re-heated frozen veg served in bowl for £4.50. Cubed Lamb was good but sparse. It came with a small triangle of pitta bread with tomato puree smeared over. The minced lamb skewers were tiny. It came with a white pitta bread out of a supermarket packet. Both cost nearly £17 each.
Service: Gave food order....no drinks. Had to ask for a drinks menu. No-one checked if food was ok. 15% service charge. When we said we would pay half of it the owner waded in using his large frame in an aggressive manner to demand the money. When we questioned the service further he became more aggressive. If you book using taste card - don't do it online. They don't tell you but you have to phone. It was made very clear that they were doing us a favour by letting us eat at their empty restaurant.
Summary: Avoid at all costs. Being located in Knightsbridge does not justify such high prices for such sloppy supermarket food and awful service.
A lovely restaurant serving Lebanese food. The food was very nice and freshly made. the portions were more than enough. The staff are great. The ambiance is alright.
Perhaps a bit lacking in atmosphere, but sometimes a restaurant being on the quiet side isn't actually such a bad thing. I thought the quality of the food was pretty good - many of the dishes were on a par with my favourite Lebanese restaurant in London (Noura in Belgravia). I particularly enjoyed the foul medames and the falafel. The food seemed slightly cheaper than some of the other Middle Eastern restaurants in the immediate vicinity, although perhaps the drinks were a little on the dear side.
Great place amazing food!
