Stayed a night here in a tent when we were doing the local mountain bike trail centres. Perfectly placed for Mabie. Site is lovely and peaceful. The pitches are laid out to ensure a bit of seclusion from neighbouring campers. Facilities were clean with everything you need. Free showers with plenty of hot water and a kitchen and laundry area with fridge and freezer for ice blocks etc. Will definitely be back for a longer stay with the caravan later in the year.
I was only going to stay one night but I couldn't resist staying a second as it's such a lovely, peaceful place. Loads of rabbits, beautiful surroundings and spotless facilities. The pitches are really well set out so everyone has their own space. Also, the owners are really friendly and know the area very well. I'll definitely be back!
A lovely, unspoilt site with more than adequate facilities. We keep going back as its the best caravan site we know. With two working cockers, we love the dog field and the local wildlife. Everyone we have have met there have been very friendly and would help us out with any problem. The owners are accommodating, hard working and very keen to ensure our stay is what we expect. Don't expect a fancy, modern site with a shop or clubhouse even. We look forward to basic facilities, well looked after and access to the beautiful country around us. Can't wait to go back.
A lovely small campsite, just what we needed for our first outing with our touring caravan. Incredible number of rabbits!
The local farmshop and cafe is wonderful, 9-5 opening hours, closed on Sundays. The cheese selection is well worth trying. Knowledgeable staff and very friendly. Their range is superb and the quality of the fruit and veg was impressive.
This caravan site is so lovely, quiet, peaceful. We have our caravan there on a seasonal pitch. Claire & Jackie who run the site are friendly and helpful. The site is a good size, and there a lot of different trees, bushes and plants, together with lots of rabbits and even a resident buzzard. It is kept nice and clean. Even when the site is full, you still feel you have a lot of space, as some of the bushes separate your caravan from others. There’s also a woodland walk on the site.
Lovely host, pay cash on arrival. Great place for camping and caravans, clean showers lots of hot water, clean toilets toilet roll is provided... small kitchenette area to wash up, use of a washing machine and dryer at a small charge. Small fridge freezer. Bbq and enclosed fires allowed, must be put on the slate provided.... lovely place to stay
Five of us, looking for a quiet campsite, climbing locally fir 3 days, 4 wee tents, 3 cars…doesn’t really fit the pricing structure so we phoned. Claire was super helpful and friendly. No problem and very fair pricing.||||Site is immaculate, peaceful, sheltered from road, and full of bunnies. Toilets and nice hot showers are sparkling, and there’s an indoor washing up area with fridge.||||BBQ etc is fine, ask for flagstones so you don’t damage lovely grass.||||We will be back!!
