Great atmosphere in the shop! Very cheerful and the service is good. Best chip shop in the area. Portions are massive. The meat is tasty. Chips are very very good. Will definitely come back again.
The reviews are not wrong, the chips are really good. But...regular chips and a pot of beans...£4.90. Not cheap.
Had the chicken kebab, the chicken was thickly sliced and tasted fresh (there seemed to be pieces of stuffing mixed in with it, but that could have been because I visited just after Christmas). The salad was crispy and fresh and the staff were polite and friendly. The portions are generous, see photos as the kebab almost filled a dinner plate!
I'll be back to try their other goodies and amend my review.
Lovely hot fish and Chips. The lunchtime special. Great value. Great service
Service is very slow, very small portions and the fish is NOT FRESHLY MADE it was definitely REHEATED the batter was like rubber and not edible the chips were ok but still quite a few black bits on the them.

Very good fish and chips and one of the best value takeaways in Coventry.
