Our local chippy is Mattishall, but after hearing good things we decided to give Beck's a go. So glad we did! We rang ahead so no waiting, which was great.
Highlights:
+Haddock was flaky, soft and delicious. +Chip portions big.
+"Bitesize" meals were very generous and a bargain.
+Curry sauce was rich, thick and smooth.
+Still hot after a 20 minute drive home!
+Boxes were great for kids to eat out of.
If I had one tiny criticism, it would be that the medium haddock, which was the largest haddock size, was not as big as I have had elsewhere. But that may just be me being greedy!
Will definitely be back!
Really good fish and chips that cater for gluten free. Hubby said his GF battered cod was exceptional. Really pleased to be able to have take out as a family.
Nicely cooked cod and chips served in a cardboard box rather than paper wrapping. Maybe the reason for the price being several pounds more expensive than Dereham chip shops.
Maybe a good idea to phone in order to prevent a long wait at busy times.
Great taste, great portion sizes. Knock off one star for forgetting the curry sauce ( I should have checked the bag tbf)

Excellent food, phone up and ready for pick up. Best fish and chips I've had in along time and will continue to use, highly recommend and good value for money.
Ordered by phone food for eight people, food boxed on arrival in individual meals so no squabbling later. Bite size meals ideal for lighter appetites. Generous with the chips .
Have got my pre order wrong on more than one occasion.
To be fair they always put it right the next time round.
If the quality of food wasn’t as good as it is, I wouldn’t return. But they serve great fish and chips, so I put up with the issues
