Went in at 12pm got a chicken and bacon sub roll , not much mayonnaise very dry , very tasteless not salt or pepper added which very much needed didn't see any in shop.
No Tattie scones at 12pm left .
Staff pleasant.
Basically Greggs but better. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Also they do birthday cakes that are absolutely amazing. The sponge is so soft. Breakfast rolls served till 11 and the bacon rolls are some of the nicest I've had. I really like the coffee they serve too.. loyalty scheme is 1 free coffee for every 6 purchased.
I did some research for places to eat whilst we visited Stirling, from the reviews, this place looked pretty good. When we visited I found it a little disappointing.
As we ordered our food I was told quite sternly, you’re not allowed to take photos in here. (-1 star).
The Bakery was quite popular and had a steady stream of customers. There are 2 parking spaces in front of the store, and more with street parking.
The food and drinks we had were nice, but there was nothing special to make me want to go back for another visit.
I deleted the photos taken, so unfortunately that’s the Bakery’s loss not mine.
We had delicious food from here at a good price. I mostly enjoyed the soup of the day (lentil) but the other snacks and cakes were marvellous together with the coffee. We did not see the bench just below the Old Bridge. Would have been a relaxing spot for snacking.
Lovely shop great selection of pastries and rolls and staff always pleasant and easy to talk to ….very easy to park here ….highly recommend
Who doesn't love Baynes, canny beat their roll on square sausage after a frosty morning watching rugby training followed by an apple and cream turnover x
