Just what you need from a village pub! Great food, great staff and a pool table!
Myself and my family have had the pleasure of two visits to The Bay Horse (so far) and both have been wonderful.
The staff are all lovely and friendly, the food certainly matches.
If you're in need of a quality Sunday roast, this is your place. The meat is perfectly done, the veg is brilliant and a great Yorkshire pud is just what you need, plus an exceptional gravy.
The new owners are brilliant and we will certainly be returning again and again!
We have eaten twice here this weekend and both occasions, it has been absolutely beautiful and dog friendly. The service , the atmosphere the food is excellent. We got served by James Sunday 31st March, and the service he gave alone was brilliant , a Lovely friendly guy. Hope to see you all again.
The bay horse in Cherry Burton is a lovely village pub, as it's not on a main road you're not going to pass it, you have to turn off into the village. There is an excellent choice of beers included two cask conditioned hand pulled real ales. There is a pool table and dart board in one room and a nice cozy comfortable seating area at the other side of the pub. Excellent meals are served, check opening times. Friendly staff, car park, outdoor seating.
My Partner and I have been today for Sunday Lunch. What a lovely village pub The Bay Horse is! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic!! Roast Beef, with fresh veg and yummy yorkshire pudding! Will definitely be back!!
1st visit, very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Starter very tasty, mains were also lovely. Will visit again as local to us.
I believe it has new owners who are not doing food during the week. Its a nice enough village pub but you need to check the food situation before travelling there.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, nice food . Plates could be hotter, veg was a bit hard! All in all a good meal.
First time in the pub for ages nice couple we will be back with all the Williams
