Absolutely disgusting order 2 bacon and tomato on crusty. The older lady went in the back to get the bacon. There was bacon in the front heated cabinet so don't know why my bacon was fetched from the back. I left the premises, sat in my vehicle to eat. I looked inside my cobs and the bacon was nearly raw, absolutely disgusting. I think the lady just looked at the bacon and never cooked it. Avoid this place if you like your meat cooked. I had to throw mine away to avoid food poisoning. Didn't go back in to complain as the lady was scary.
First timer here, place came recommended. Quick service but probably because the cobs was cold. £4.80 seemed high for sausage bacon and mushrooms cob. Staff was pleasant enough.
I absolutely LOVE THEIR Crusty Ham Salad Cobs with Salad cream. They are awesome ????. The only thing that put me off was I saw the lady breaking up a fresh lettuce and putting it in the containers to be served WITHOUT washing it. That went into my cob. I really wanted to ask her why she didn't wash that but to be honest I wasn't feeling well and I couldn't be bothered too is I am a cancer patient .I had E-Coli after eating that cob. To be honest I shouldn't have eaten that when I knew my immune system was quite weak and she hadn't washed it. It is a shame because I do love them cobs. Also the atmosphere in the shop can be so horrible when she serves with a moody face, which is quite often later in the afternoon. On the occasions when I've walked in and they are lovely to the customers with a big :-) it really makes a big difference, especially when you're paying something like £20 in the shop
Nice little café but the older lady behind the counter could do with a little cheering up, rolled her eyes every time I spoke to her and was extremely grumpy, maybe she was having a bad day.
Not only got cobs wrong food was cold

Well what can I say , I’ve been to this place quite a few time over the years and I can honestly say I’ve never been in a more depressing place in my life , staff wise are so miserable, I mean if you don’t enjoy your job then don’t work there! Not a smile, good morning or anything from the old blonde women in there , just Yes ????, what’s that all about ? Won’t bother in the future .
I've been here a fair few times. If anything is over cooked or u want a fresh egg. If u ask they will give u your order how u want it cooked. Price wise very good deal for eating in. Tables always clean. Service always fast. Smells lovely. And the ladies who serve are very good at their job.
