Homely place with 80s decor. Welcoming and polite staff. Dined on a Tuesday evening, so on the quiet side, but all the other diners were regulars. Chose from the mid week menu which offered variety. We both enjoyed our meals which were enjoyable and cooked well. Both had the red house wine, which was good and the coffee I finished with had both flavour and body. Would certainly go again.
Went for Mother's day. Set menu but choices for starters, main and sweet. We find the food is always very nice and good price for what is offered. Staff a friendly also. See a lot of regular faces when we go so got to be good. Alacarte menu offered during the evening's which has a good choice.
Always good food. Had a lunchtime meal. Although there was a traditional Christmas 3 course meal option for £16.99 I opted for Kinver pie. It was full of tender beef with a very light puff pastry.

We had Beef wellington which was superb, cooked to perfection and served with fresh vegetables and Madeira sauce. Followed by crem brûlée.
Portions were very generous and everything cooked fresh.

Very nice food. Lots of choice on the menu. Prices are good. Portions are big. Loved this place :-) Owners are a little eccentric but it all adds to the atmosphere. Visit this place and you won't be disappointed.
