Very expensive pierogi said to be great and hand made have been ruined after Litteraly cooking for 2 mins

And some of them been already “opened” even before hand not tasty at all either
After store refurbushed it looks more spacious and easier to walk amongs the aisles but this refurb makes the store more empty and cut range of products than it used to be.
Main thing is: always check the expiry date on products because you can find plenty near the date or even expired already. Other thing you have to do is: to always check the receipt because one price is on shelf and other is on the counter.
It used to be a good to shop to visit but not anymore...

Basically still a great little Polish store, but I was sorry to see the range of deli items, sausages, hams and other cooked meals seemed to have reduced since I was last in. On the other hand, they now sell frozen khinkdli and pelmeni.
Everything fresh and very very nice smiling staff all over the store!!
I like about Bartek Express that you can find products, that you will not find elsewhere. Definitely the best supermarket with polish food in London. As well, they have huge selection of cakes and meat products.
Great shop. Clean, light, modern. Great selection of polish and Easter European food. Pickled cucumbers are yummm
