We are blessed with good fish and chips shops In Barnard Castle. This is a great place to eat, made to order and the ladies that work there are experienced and seem like a family business. Very good!

The worst fish and chips ever. Chips hard and batter on dry fish very brown. Left over half of serving. Won't be making return visit. Staff not very communicative!

Lovely fish and chips, nice staff, got the light bite £5.00 plenty there very filling, ordered inside then waited outside for our order, quick service will definitely come back, but please change your forks as they are no use !!!
All I can say is that the curry sauce is by far the BEST I’ve ever had. In fact ,generally chip shop curry sauce is rubbish in my opinion. This sauce is amazing. I would of had fish but was too close dinner time so just had a small chips and my daughter had curry sauce with her order which I basically robbed her of. Would recommend this place wholeheartedly just because of that sauce. The chips were also excellent. I’ll be back when visit again.
