Absolutely loved the Pies & sausage roll
We ordered steak & pepper pies, chicken & mushroom, sausage roll.
The pastries are soft with a little crunch.
Generous serving of steak in the pie, same with the chicken.
The bakery has been resiliently renovated.
We bought 3 items. Lamb and mint pasties, chicken cream pasties and Eccles cake. All very delish. Will go back again before we head back home. The lady at the shop was very patient with us as we weren’t familiar with the different items and asked many questions ????
Went in there today and ordered some cakes. Unfortunately none of the cakes giveology information about nuts or any other ingredients. What's called make a person rarely ill stuff didn't really care when asked what was in the cakes and because we went to order an extra cake what we didn't know had nuts in it they didn't want to put it back on display and wanted to charge us for it when no one even touched it by their staff. Staff really could do with training especially with people being allergic to stuff people could die. What is a serious matter !!!
Not what it used to be. Staff were rude however you can get past that if the food was good. Unfortunately the pasties that we had were mainly potato and didn't taste of much. Such a shame.
Walked past couple times this week been dying to go in so we did on our way to the beach. Giant oogie to share for tea and some lovely coconut tart for beach treat. Delicious. We shall be calling again before we go home.
Bought cake and pasties, very expensive for a takeaway , quality poor, After we left we noticed the pasties were burnt underneath so check whats in the bag before you leave, wont return.
Oh the cakes are all very nice but the sausage rolls are the real gems here. I mean they're addictively good!
Lovely little bakery with various pasty and desserts . Had the biggest pasty ever delightful service just be aware of the seagulls around if You're thinking of eating nearby
