Used to be a great place and I'd have called in regularly for Sunday dinner when up in Newcastle.Today, however, called in for Sunday dinner. Cost £8.29 for Lukewarm, small portions tasteless and drab. Once good reputation gone! Other than that shop is well stocked and staff are lovely
It is a nice shop with a nice chipper
Staff always brilliant when I'm in visiting the area. Currently storming with a long walk in front of me, went in and asked if they sold umbrellas, was told unfortunately not but a member of staff on the till wearing glasses hunted me out one that had been sitting in lost property for ages and gave me it. I'm very grateful to him.
Great place for bread, milk, petrol and hot food which is on until around 3pm
Great for top -up shops good variety of produce and friendly staff
First class service at 6am in the morning sets you up for the day
The chap in the off license was extremly helpful and recommened two very nice Italian wines for the weekend and they were great!

Great range of food and prices , but staff at checkouts are more content in talking to each other than talking to customers while being served. Customer interaction is key to good service .
