Ordered and waited two hours for delivery and well past the stated delivery time .so that's a thumbs down.
When it did arrive my drink was not in the bag.thumbs down again.
On to the food.
The burger was ok beef and a big piece of bacon on top. It was nice to be honest . Simple and nice.
The cream cheese and jalapeno bites were ok.
The mozzerella sticks were ok.
The chips with katsu curry was just a mess, no chip survived the onslaught of the spicy katsu curry sauce so never had the pleasure of crispy chips with sauce on. It was just a potato and curry stodge ville episode.
And the buffalo chicken Wings were ok.
This type of food would be a stoners heaven or if you was hungry after the pub.
But I wasn't either so never enjoyed it.
I woud'nt order again but don't let me put you off. give it a try and make sure you are expecting deep fried stodge and you will enjoy it.
Love this bar. Great atmosphere and really friendly service. Cider was cheap and we even had some shoots.
Chicken wings were great and excellent value for money
Really poor, food took an hour despite being the only people waiting for food. Place was incredibly dirty and staff were miserable. Food that eventually came was very disappointing, cold and clearly microwaved or frozen cheap fried stuff but not reflected in the price. Menus on tables are filthy. It was not busy. Heyho won’t bother again
A short haired women bouncer turned my friend who is 25 away from here because "he didn't look like his ID" probably because the photo was taken 7 years ago. She was rude and wouldn't let us in. Won't be coming back.
All right. The 3 for £10 portions were very small and while not awful weren't exactly brilliant. Also our ordering at the bar did take quite a long time. On a more positive note however the food was served quickly and I love the fact that each booth has their own TV with an adjustable sound which I thought was clever and neat.
Truth be told, I think this is more of a drinks place, than a food place. If you're looking for a nice meal, then unfortunately I can't recommend this place but if you just want a place to chill with a few mates, grab some pints and watch the footie, this is probably much more to your liking.
Busiest bar in Aberystwyth during university term time. Very popular venue with younger customers and students. Drinks range is comprehensive. Serving good quality bar meals and offering home delivery through app. Has outdoor seating available. Provides private function rooms on request.
