I have been using this place for my car repairs, MOT's & services since moving to Somerton in early 2019. I've always found Paul and his team very accommodating and professional.
I had a great experience at Bancombe Auto about a year ago when I was searching for an O ring for a condenser replacement on my vehicle. After visiting several garages within the trading estate, Bancombe Auto came to the rescue. They had the exact O ring size I needed, and it was made of the correct material for Aircon applications. Their extensive inventory and knowledge saved me a lot of time and hassle. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring I got the right part for my vehicle. I highly recommend Bancombe Auto for their excellent selection, expertise, and exceptional customer service.
I used to go to different garages in and around Glastonbury, but after finding this one, I never went anywhere else. They are very fair with their prices and very helpful. They do great quality work on everything, from aircon regas and welding to MOTs, repairs, and diagnostics.
I have a Volkswagen Caravelle (Transporter), and I've had all the suspension changed, the air conditioning fixed (it had leaks and holes in the pipes and condenser), cruise control fitted, the front passenger seat changed to a double seat, and the parking sensors all changed and wiring repaired.
All the other garages I went to were either overpriced or simply not able to do anything other than swap parts. But the owner of this garage, Paul, is fantastic with auto electrics and the mechanics are great too.
The office manager Sophie is super helpful and friendly.

Got some maintenance work done to my car at Bancombe Autos, a few days after on the way back from work, the coolant light came on and I discovered there was a major leak. As soon as I got the car back to the garage they had a look and repaired it quickly and at free of cost despite the fact the leak had nothing to do with the work they carried out, being fully booked and, had loads of staff off work that day.
They are a very personable company, very helpful and respectful and, offer amazing prices.

Couldn't be happier with the service I received today from these friendly guys, Recently purchased a 1990 hymer motorhome and wanted to know what if anything needed doing to it, they did an inspection and showed me the faults, explaining in detail.
Now booked in to get the remedial work done and a new mot.
Walked away with full confidence that these guys will do a great job when it goes in.
I went here after four aqaintances separately recommended them.
