This curry house has been here with the same owners for over 30 years. It’s no thrills but enjoyed the food.
Really enjoyed the tandoori chicken and keema Bhuna!
Could do better. Lamb sag was chewy & greasy though my friends chicken passanda was good. Indifferent service. Toilets weren't nice, broken taps, dead flies on floor, no hand towels.
rubbish bog standard bland commercial indian, bland, greasy, slimey food, if you think this food is good you have seriously no clue about flavour that it’s embarressing, rubbish service also, if you actually have dignity about eating proper good indian food with authentic flavours go Pakwaan’s.
It's ok. A little bit shabby and past it's sell by date but it's ok. Food's good, service is ok. Best catch it on its half price evening's when it's much better value.
Went here on a friday night for a stag party. Arrived at 7:30pm and we did not receive our meals until gone 9pm. The food was okay but when the food arrived the waiters confused things, and put our food anywhere on the table.
When it came to the bill we had to wait a further 30 minutes. The restaurant was full but it's only 50 covers and 6 waiters meaning there was enough staff.
Completely delayed our night.

Me and now husband have been coming to Balti King since 2012 - it was our first date night together and it’s a place we go to a lot for date night or when we are feeling lazy and fancy as yummy Indian. Highly recommend - staff very friendly, food is delicious ???? great prices and especially their half price deal on Thursday & Sunday.
We have been to a couple in the Essex area & I can honestly say, Balti King is by far the best tasting Indian in Essex.
We are actually just waiting for it to open this evening to order some food.
