£10.80 for supreme cob (4 fried eggs in it !!!),cheese and coleslaw jacket spud and 2 americanos, fantastic portions and really excellent coffee, seating at the back, clean with good covid practice in place, extremely helpful friendly staff, who are clearly happy in there work
Great coffee and they sell Howden coffee beans. Very friendly, efficient service
Went in for first time under new management. Asked for 2 bacon sandwiches to take out, not asked if I wanted brown or white rolls. Sandwiches came and I asked if I could have sauce, the server scoffed and asked which colour. Found the server to be incredibly rude and when we got the sandwiches they were at the best okay.
Now under new management and new cook. I had a full English breakfast and it was lovely. All the staff are very polite and a pleasure to talk to.will definitely go on a regular basis.
Just been in lovely new owners and staff which have only been in 2 weeks due to a family bereavement. with a whole new staff team who were all very friendly, they have lovely homemade bakes too! Would highly recommend a visit!
Have been stopping here for a few years now on our way to the Scarborough/Filey area. The food is amazing every time, the prices are very fair and the staff are very friendly and polite. There is a large selection of fantastic cakes and breads etc on sale too. We look forward to calling in here ever time and recommend it to all our family and friends. We wish it was closer to home we'd be in it every day.
Had lunch here with my family (2 adults , one 2 year-old, one 8 year-old) and it was lovely. Daughter ate her whole sandwich which is rare for her as she's quite fussy, my son loved his cheese sandwich, wife enjoyed the bacon sandwich and my baguette was great! It had cheese and tomato with a really nice side salad without any mayonnaise or other horrible dressing most places put on even when you tell them you don't like it!
Staff were very nice and it was decent value for money.
We cycled to York and stopped here both on the to York and back again, given a very warm welcome and somewhere to dry off and put our bikes away safely, can't recommend this place enough
