I went in for breakfast, it’s a pretty old fashioned place in a way with some classic features when maybe it was still run by the old Metropolitan Railway. The place seemed like it needs an overhaul and update. The menu is not very desirable and could do with a complete overhaul. I asked for two eggs, beans and hash browns which they made up for me, even know there was no indication from the menu you could do that. Served on a nice hot plate which is a good touch.
When my food came with the tea, strangely the tea pot moved on its own twice and the milk did the same once. Either there is a poltergeist or it’s to do with heat friction or maybe even the tube trains from Baker Street station! Who knows!!
It’s an okay restaurant for the simple stuff, felt like a proper old greasy-spoon. But I feel the place could be totally rearranged, with a more old worldly approach.
Never eat at this place, they are there to scam you! The prices that you see in the menu will be doubled when you go to pay because they charge "40% more for the service" (of course, it's written in fine print somewhere in the corner of the menu where nobody can see it). We ended up paying more than 100 pounds for total garbage. Shameless people trying to get advantage of tourists
Went here after a visit to Madame Tussauds. Wasn't expecting anything special, as prices seemed quite reasonable. However the food was abysmal. Cheese and ham panini was a stale toasted French stick with little ham. Kids pizza was inedible (hard & a bit of a twang to the taste), & the jacket potato with cheese and beans, looked like it had been microwaved & left for 30 mins (dried melted cheese & no bean juice). I would not recommend at all sadly, you pay for what you get!
Very bad service, little food for the money, didn't get what I ordered and then they left out two ingredients. A messy place.
Unfortunately, my experience with the panini was not entirely positive. The panini contained whole blocks of ham, which didn't enhance the flavor. Additionally, there was a strange odor in the restaurant, affecting the overall dining experience. However, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Despite the friendly service, I can only give it 2 stars due to the disappointing dishes and unpleasant odor.
This was a lovely find. The service is friendly, the food and drinks are delicious. The pizzas we ordered were completely made to order, no imported dough, all made by hand. The mocha was far better than any of the chain coffee shops.
And the prices are very reasonable.

Good food but not good quality. Reasonable prices until they add a 12.5% service charge when they practically do their job (I'm a waitress). It is embarrassing that they add so much to you when the tip should be the choice of each person in terms of their experience. They take advantage of being in front of Madame Tousoud and the tourists who pass through the area.
Waitress-If you are from a different country don't even bother entering, the waitress is rude and racist. Doesn't seem to be interested to serve anyone except white skin. Just grow up and learn that the world has evolved.... Enjoyed a burger from the food truck opposite to it way better service and he was very welcoming...
