Passed by early morning during walk. Very dog friendly ( few people didn’t have a dog!) , with a free treat to all dogs. Service quick and friendly and prices reasonable. I’d hoped to find a cafe in Coggeshall, but didn’t expect something quiet so pleasant.
Came for lunch with my two children today. Service was good and friendly especially considering it was very busy, and could see how hard the staff were working. Had two all day breakfasts and a jacket potato. Food was lovely, good quality and reasonably priced. Tearoom looked very pretty with festive decorations, and had a lovely atmosphere. We'd recommend and happily come back.
Excellent food and service, nice ambience. Good quality china and reasonably priced. My wife loved it and it was pleasantly busy too so the locals obviously like it as well.
We are so lucky to have such a friendly, welcoming place to drink coffee and eat delicious food. Thanks team for another great lunch!
We love Bakealicious. It’s our favourite place to go. We have tried the lovely sandwiches, a Sunday morning fry up but most of all the almond twists and a latte are my favourite!
The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the decor is very different to other tea rooms that I’ve visited. A little gem in Coggeshall
Daughter treated me asked for toased Granary Sandwiches waited such a long time and tea and ☕️ coffee.brought out white cheap bread horrible. Daughter spoke to the lady and said we did ask for Granary she didn't say a thing just walked in the shop again my daughter works in the food trade and she said her boss wouldn't put up with rudeness..like this woman was. I would have rather payed more and gone some were else like the village pub .waited a long while went in to ask if we could have are drinks ..tea was warm .loads of babys high chairs kids inside .and a bowl full all piled up of dirty dishes looked not good . Avoid this place ...cheap rubbish .Will not be comeing back there to pay ouet £20 for this . !!!!
Called in for late breakfast with my husband. Nice decor and very friendly staff. Ordered the small English breakfast. Nice food. Nothing amazing, but did serve a good strong pot of tea. The bread used for toast was lovely and included in price. Would recommend if in Coggeshall. (Also limited at 11.30am on a Saturday for different places for food in Coggeshall). Nearby pub wasn't cooking till noon, other pub had finished breakfasts at 11.15am.
Best jacket potato ???? I've had in ages, cheese actually had flavour. Good flavoursome side salad.
