Beautiful beach which we shared with cows :) you have to park at the car park next to the houses and walk along to the beach. Worth the effort for the views.
very special memories here. One of the most northern points I have ever been. I was scared to go in the water because it was winter. we cooked food on the beach
One of the most incredible experience I've never had ! A pure beaty place. Seem to be at the edge of the world. Atfer have been visited that place, I can die quiettly..or not
Stunning beach. You have to park and walk to it though as Google maps road doesn't actually exist as a through road so be careful. We parked near to houses and walked up, there's free roaming cattle which didn't bother us although we made sure to stay well away from them as they had young ones.
This is perhaps my all-time favourite beach; it's a little difficult to get to, which pays off because most people are lazy and won't walk for 10 minutes to get there, so you'll often get the beach to yourself, or share it with the cows. Because it is south facing, it receives the sun for the majority of the day, it has spectacular views of Sandray, there are rocks on each side to explore, a large field behind it to observe, and the beach itself is primarily sandy with some small pebbles. It has a little bit of everything, plus a hill on each side that you can walk to get even more magnificent views.
Stunning little beach
amazing quiet beach
A stunning and secluded bay - worth the wee walk through the machair.
