Both my husband and I take both our cars here and have done for many years. We started taking our cars to this garage on a recommendation from our daughter. Brian and Rob have always given great service and there have been times when we have been fitted in straight away when we have had problems with our cars. The service received has been excellent and the price for work very reasonable. Excellent and honest work at all times. We personally would never go elsewhere.
Went in 3 times - car not fixed and felt really messed about..Then took it to another garage and they identified the issue straight away. Would not recommend . Also - They were not open when they said they would be to drop off so I was late for work.
Always excellent professional service, used them for over 20 years , honest n trustworthy, wouldn't go anywhere else .

No stars here, I just had to give one to post it! I had moved to the area and tried the next garage for first an MOT and a service for my Volvo. Quoted 50.00 for the MOT but asked me on pick up to pay 85.00 because they replaced a bulb and had dropped something into the engine which then took them over an hour to retrieve ...???? Whats that got to do with me one might ask?
The service went even worse, where there was a strange knocking noise after 2 days after and I brought it right back to them to check but was sent away with :don't know, can't be serious. 1/2h later, while driving up to Leeds, I got a call (now, thank you for that) telling me there was an oil spill where I had stood, did I have my oil checked recently? (you did this 2 days ago). I pulled over immediately, checked and was completely dry and then told by the garage that it would probably best to drive it straight back to them (25miles) but I was given no guarantee of course that it would not burn the motor out during the return journey and they would of course not take responsibly for it, if that happened. Instead of following their recommendations, I bought oil, got off the motorway and went 3 miles down the road to the closest garage to check this for me. They did and fixed the oil filter head which had been forced on damaging thread which was put on at an angle and must have been forced with tools as it was so tight on - which of course did not prevent the oil spring out. I was advised that the engine would have burned out within the next 10 miles.
So a re-threading, new oil and a motor clean later costing me over 80.00 I was told that they had nothing to do with it as I had to bring it back to them to rectify the issue. Lucky I did not burn my engine out, lucky for them too! Incompetence and not taking responsibility for their mistakes with a high possibility of someone ruining your car? Does not sound recommendable to me. Find someone else.
The best garage around. Very fair price and they always get the job super quick, cannot recommend Brian and Rob enough!
