Best KPortal Reviews

This place turned out to be a delightful surprise for lunch. The atmosphere was inviting, and we were greeted warmly upon arrival. We decided to try their focaccia, and we were not disappointed. The bread was perfectly baked, with a nice crust and soft interior, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Each bite was a delicious combination of savory and aromatic ingredients.
However, I must note a minor drawback: the latte I ordered didn't have a strong coffee flavor; it was quite light. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a satisfying lunch option. Also, it's dog friendly.
A lovely cafe within the most beautiful gardens, good coffee, cakes and food.
Excellent quality food, amazing choice in the brunch menu and prices were great. Most tables were reserved but luckily found a spot! Clearly very popular
Well from the reviews I've seen. There must be another cafe in the grounds because I thought this place was ridiculously over priced and the menu very basic. Honestly nearly 15 quid for a burger all this place has going for it is it's the grounds of the hall much better places to eat then here the bookworm is a example. better food on offer. Prices much better and a lovely shop to have a look around as well
Normally I ask for a pot of tea and a cake, but today I ordered a salad with smoked salmon, potatoes and some crunchy green leaves.....it was delicious! I left an empty plate ;) The place evolved over the years, evolved for good! Keep it that way please.
Lovely discovery of this venue! A cold rainy day, but we sat inside & enjoyed a great meal. Staff were very friendly & service was good. Nice museum in the main house too - lots of interactive displays & interesting.
We loved this place. We have lived in Spalding for 6 years and have been meaning to go. So glad we did. Beautiful museum and gardens. The cafe is a family run cafe. The food is delicious ????, especially the breakfasts.
Katie made our museum tour really interesting and she took time out to explain the history to us. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her job.
Called for morning coffee (and bread pudding, mmm!!) So good, we booked for lunch. What a treat, all 4 of us were delighted with our meals, my OH normally chooses from burger, fried fish or pie. Today he chose Salt baked beetroot, goats cheese and candied walnuts, with a nicely dressed mixed leaf salad. He loved it, and was so full he had to leave a whole tub of chunky chips! The young staff were friendly and efficient. We look forward to returning.
