Hidden gems around here, Nice Cafe, Tackle Shop, Car wash, few other bits too like Airsoft and I think a Dive shop?
It’s disappointing that some of the most well established businesses here are being forced out by exorbitant rent increases. Despite claiming to be “regenerating” Avonside, the newest landlords are doing little to improve the area.
This is not only upsetting for the businesses there that have struggled through covid and now sky high running costs but also for the people of Melksham, who are losing brilliant businesses at the hands of greedy private investors. Not sure what the intentions are for this historic site but interests certainly don’t seem to be invested in the local community.
The Good Loaf us an excellent cafe based on the owner's bakery.
Well worth a visit, but get there early as the best items go fast.
Definitely NOT a superstore, a bit small for that, didn't take long to browse the displays.
