Terrible Tyres. Had Nexen previously which lasted over 5 years and never deflated. Stupidly tried some Avon ZX7 and they constantly deflated, both tyres, every 2 weeks I was pumping them up. Had them refitted 3 times, nothing solved the issue. They were leaking from the bead so most people told me my allows will probably be at fault, so I lived with it for a while. I then purchased two budget Roadstone tyres (owned by Nexen and the same tread as my previous tyres) and what do you know...no issues!
Goodyear/Avon response was that one tyre was not covered by the warranty because they had been run on under inflated and the other one was not covered because it had been (legally) repaired on the middle of the tread. No mention of that one being run on under inflated though. They both leaked since week one!
They also wear very fast in comparison to the Nexen/Roadstone.
These lasted 18 months (same level of mileage) and probably had a year left on them tread wise.

Do you expect the design engineer to be there for you when you have a flat tyre? I sure didn't! And he's gone through some trouble to get me moving again, so apart from making good tyres the customer service is out of this world good.
