I had Eelctrical issues with my E46 M3 and luckily came across Mervs services. I called him and and asked for some advice to what I presumed was the cause, he asked me to check something else. Well what can I say utterly incredible service! Contacted Merv after finding him on Google after so many excellent reviews, he was polite and honest. Had to wait a week or so as he is an extremely busy man. But worth the wait it was the knowledge and efficiency was no other than TOP CLASS !! The issue was my window control unit which was resolved and working within 2.5 hours. Cannot recommend enough a true gent!! Thank you Merv ????????????????

Repaired my E39 LCM in record time.
Excellent service, excellent communications, and above all a genuine nice bloke.
He even managed to program my unit to get rid of the dreaded 'tamper dot'.

I was advised to come here by my mechanic for an electrical issue on my car and I can 100% see why. Merv fixed my car no issue and even warned me about my battery not being great. I booked my car in with Merv to have a faulty soft close boot latch diagnosed and repaired on my BMW. Merv was ready and waiting at the agreed date and time at the workshop. He diagnosed the issue and provided an excellent repair to solve the issue on this occasion on the same day. I found his manner, knowledge and communication to be just as impressive as his ability to solve the issue and cannot recommend him highly enough to others for electrical repairs. His knowledge of older BMW models was very impressive and I feel lucky to have found and taken my car to Autoelectron for repair. Top class from start to finish.
Mini Cooper S Fusebox/SPEG repair. Excellent Service!
After diagnosing a potential fuel pump relay issue in the fusebox/SPEG, quite common apparently. I spent a few hours Googling DIY repairs, as a new part from Mini is silly expensive and difficult to get hold.
Fortunately I found Merv at Autoelectron, Harrogate, although over a 3 hour round trip for me it was well worth the time and effort. I dropped the part off with Merv at about 9:30am and it was ready to collect by 11am, just as he said it would. As such I was back home, had the part installed by mid afternoon and a perfectly running car again.
Merv is friendly guy who certainly knows his is stuff, he responded to my emails quickly, even over a weekend!
If you choose to drop off and wait for the repair, I would definitely recommend a full breakfast at Fodders while Merv works his magic.
