I stopped in this morning with a minor issue. It was diagnosed and fixed within half an hour. Meh - not fixed, exactly - a seized part got persuaded to give life another go by the intelligent application of WD40 and waggling it about a bit.
I could have been charged for this and I wasn't. Which is nice, because I'm skint.
And I should probably mention that the workshop is beautiful (if you like that kind of thing, which I do).
And the people are unfussy, friendly and efficient.
I've booked the car in for a service because I think it will be happy there ????.
First class service, very comfortable and clean waiting area and really friendly guys! Will definitely be choosing auto tech for all future jobs! A couple of rare cars to see and a pleasant stay whilst waiting for my MOT with my daughter. No screaming bad language just a nice professional environment.
Edit: 12 months on and I booked my car in for the MOT, again super careful with my car and allowed to sit and watch. Couldn’t recommend any higher.
I have only been to this garage a few times. Each time ive received the friendliest service and expertise on any fault ive experienced with both cars. I can't recommend this garage enough. Especially Mark the owner who went above and beyond to help me with my BMW which I got locked out of with the battery disconnected in the boot. Mark was more than happy to help me with my troubles as he came by to jump start the central locking via the fuse directly. I can't explain just how much he's saved me from going to a BMW specialist and probably getting quoted hundreds for this.
Brought my Saab 9 3 in for a full service a few repairs, including a whole In my exhaust. Less than 2 weeks later. I had to have my rear brakes replaced.calipers ,pads,and discs all replaced by another mechanic .I did speak to Mark about this and why there was not a general inspection of the brakes during the full service .I am afraid i did not accept his explanation. Brakes do unfortunately wear but a simple
visible inspection would off made all the difference. We all sometimes mis things, However no ,full breakdown of the service was given to me ,and now the issues with the brakes being missed. So I can only give two stars.
I kept getting a braking system fault warning so I took it to this garage, the guy who did the diagnostics said that nothing was showing up and told me I’d need my brakes replacing. I phoned up a couple of days later to book it in. An hour before it was booked in, I received a phone call asking what it was for again and then told me he couldn’t do it that day because the mechanic wasn’t in. Since then I’ve taken it to another garage and they actually had a look at my car and it turns out it was nothing to do with my brakes just the sensor.
Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. They were great when my catalytic converter was stolen off my Jazz. Full repair and MOT. Charges were very reasonable and more importantly I didn't feel like I was treated any different to a bloke which is great for ladies. My go to garage from now on. Thanks guys
Had my vehicle in with them for an MOT and repairs, was quoted a good price for a considerable amount of work.
Upon repairing the vehicle, the mechanic discovered another part was needed replacing as was faulty/likely to fail and very quickly gave us a call and recommended the part be changed whilst was off the vehicle and no extra labour charge would be issued.
All works and retest was carried out the same day and the end cost was very close to the original quoted amount, very professional and polite young man would recommend again!
Excellent service, pulled up without notice needed some wheel lug nuts loosening they helped me on the spot. Grateful, thanks! ????. Will use if i have problems in the future.
