Our car broke down on the A12 near Colchester, the auxilary belt broke.
As we were traveling from the Netherlands we were quite desperate. I had to stay in a hotel because it was Sunday.
The very next morning a called Auto aid for help
They were at the hotel within 20 minutes and they collected my car.
Within an hour my car was on the road again for a very good price!
Thanks again for saving our holiday!
Over the last year I have had the most horrendous experience with Bryan! He painted my m5 and it was awful culminating in the paint falling off!

After hitting a pothole this morning and my tyre blowing I pulled over near this garage, I rang them on the off chance of some help and within twenty minutes a lovely man from the garage had come to the rescue and sent me on my way! I couldn't be any more grateful, really professional and brilliant service
Up until 2 weeks ago, I thought they were pretty decent. Then I had my breaks replaced by somebody else ( who did a bad job) the day after the car started to make a horrible noise, so I decided to go home as I was worried and driving with the kids in the car , i decided to stop at this garage and tell them about it , I was advised to go to where I had them fixed as they were busy (fair enough) but I said I was closer to home and I was too worried to drive like that with the kids in the car , he “checked” with a torch and said ; I can’t see anything you can leave it and I call you maybe next week when I’m done, or take it to other place. I insisted , the noise was very bad and I didn’t want to do any extra driving , he raised his shoulders and said it was up to me. Ok I said I go home and let my husband check it. He laugh and said “ yeah “. 300 meters down the road I lost a wheel while driving , it was a horrible experience and a lot of money to fix the damages. Something that could have been avoided.
I know they didn’t make the mistake , but I am much more disappointed with this garage who ignore me, and let me go like that than the person who didn’t put the wheel back properly the day before.
I asked them as professionals and shared my concerns , he didn’t look worried and I trusted him I could drive home like that, It didn’t even cross my mind I could lose a wheel,
I understand they are busy , but if he gets in the car and drives 20 meters and hears the noise and says you really shouldn’t drive like that I get my kids out get the bus and go home, and don’t care about waiting for a week. If he says I can’t see anything is up to you and he thinks is ok to go home like that, then I trust him and go home.
Poor disgusting dangerous attitude. We are like to be ok but it could have been much much worse.
Every time I have taken my car here, they have been really helpful and friendly, especially that cars are not my forte. Me and my partner have used them on many occasions and have always had a great experience.
