Wir waren Gäste im Restaurant und haben Pizza bestellt.
Geschmacklich war es ganz oke, der Teig ist ziemlich dünn und der Käse etwas salzig.
Service war sehr freundlich.
Im Raum herrscht etwas schlechte Luft, was vermutlich auf die schlechte Abzughaube zurückzuführen ist.
Wir haben im Au Vieux nur gegessen und nicht übernachtet.||Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und man merkte ihr eine gute Ausbildung im Umgang mit Gästen an. In dem gemütlichen, rustikalen Restaurant sitzt man bequem an großen Tischen und so lässt es sich gut aushalten. Das Essen, Rösti Alpage bzw. Rösti Berger (22 SFR), wurde sehr heiß serviert, schmeckte sehr gut und war nach einem anstrengenden Wandertag genau die richtige Portion. Ein Liter Henniez Wasser wurde mit 10 SFR berechnet, was zu hoch erscheint und in keinem Verhältnis zu anderen Getränken steht. Wir würden beim nächsten mal wieder hier einkehren.
Möblierung in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber und freundliche Bedienung - wir hatten einen grossen Balkon mit Seesicht - Preis - Leistung stimmte gerade noch
Freundliche Bedienung, gutes Essen, frine Desserts und das alles zu sehr fairen Preisen.
That's not a pizza.
Food: The pizza must have been made by someone who was given the step by step instructions over a bad phone connection. A pancake flat piece of bread with what I can only assume is tomato infused olive oil in place of tomato sauce and then a mountain of cheese and four olives casually dumped on it. We didn't eat it - just a single bite that confirms that it indeed just wasn't visually appalling. The only explanation must be that the staff has a running wager on how awful they can make it and then bet on whether or not the customer complains and sends it back. We didn't complain until we were asked how the meal was: It's not a pizza and it's no good, we answered. Not having touched it at all should have prompted some sort of discount but it didn't. But at least it was very expensive and congrats to whoever won the bet.
Also, thai food is more than just curry. But ordering something called "thai spaghetti" should have been warning enough. What a peculiar mix.
The fondue was fondue but not having had it before I don't know if it was actually fondue or just melted cheese made from a recipe found on a xeroxed fax that was printed by a machine low on toner.
We ate dinner here during our stay in Champex. The food was perfectly acceptable and it was served quickly.
Two negative points: one member of staff who ran everywhere, creating anything but a relaxed atmosphere and who was quite rude to guests arriving without a reservation. On top of that, a half litre bottle of mineral water cost CHF 7.10, which is more than I have ever paid anywhere in a restaurant in Switzerland.
Sans doutes le pire restaurant de Champex-lac… la serveuse pas du tout aimable mais quand je voit les autres avis qui me rejoignent je ne suis pas du tout choquer car apparement elle est connu pour ça… la viande trop cuit la sauce a 12 CHF et le duo de mousse qui pour sûr n’est pas du fait maison ! C’est une honte ! Sans même parler du cuisinier qui se moquent des handicapé car oui nous avons entendu Étant pas loin de la porte de la cuisine! Vraiment c’est une honte de sa part.
Rien ne vas dans ce restaurant fuyez ce piège à touriste !
j ai mangé pour la 2x cette année chaque fois c etait bien pour infos je mange regulièrement au restaurant avec environs 50 a 60 nouveaux restaurants g mangé le menu chasse tres bien et copieux prix correct certains restaurants pour le meme prix vous avez que l assiette
