Thoroughly impressed with this buffet. The chicken, noodles, spinach, fish, and other dishes were great! My five year old daughter also liked this food. It's often hard finding a dish she likes. She enjoyed shrimp, fish, chicken, and macaroni and cheese.
I'm so picky when it comes to orange chicken. This was THE BEST orange chicken I've ever eaten. I don't live close by but was out near this place for work related business. Had to sit in car for a while so ordered from them online. Not disappointed. Pleasantly surprised
My second plate in, and I love this place. It is my first time being here, and I have not been disappointed. The fruit is fresh, and the sushi is delicious! The seafood casserole is amazing!
I was there for my sister's birthday, requested by her son. Eventhogh we got there almost 9 pm. They waited an hour late for us and they were really nice and friendly
Very friendly, but I didn't find any dish that I cared for. I love Chinese buffets and always find at least 2 or three things I like. Should have left at first when I smelled the moth balls. The place was packed. Apparently, some must like this place. I'm going to find me something good to eat, I'm hungry.
There was a plethora of delicious food of all sorts.
The only down side to our visit was that I had to pay full price for my 9 year old daughter because she is tall and they have height restrictions. I had no idea so I pulled out her medical card as proof and the waitress went to fetch a manager.
He then explained to me that my daughter appears to be over 5 feet tall and for that reason she pays full price. ????
Asian Star has been a staple restaurant on Brice Rd. I've been visiting this place for around two decades now. If you ever want a good Chinese buffet with plenty of great options, this is your place! ???? The sugar rolls slap and the chicken with mixed vegetables never misses. ????
My wife and I stopped in for lunch. This was our first time there and all I can say is that it definitely could use improving. The dishes were pretty standard with what you'll find at any other Chinese buffet. Nothing really stood out. The ice cream section I wouldn't go near, or if you do, get a tetanus shot after. You scoop your own ice cream and it looked absolutely gross. Most buffets have ice cream soft serve machines or individual prepackaged ice cream servings you can pick from. I noticed a lot of kids getting their own food that were way too young to be up there. It just needs cleaned up. I think we'll stay with other buffets we like better.
