A wonderful place for take out. Food is made in a very VERY timely manner. There hospitality is above and beyond. Also I've eaten from here regularly for years and never once had an incorrect order.
The quality of the food I'd score 10 out of 10. It's always freshly made and piping hot.
The last few times we've ordered peanut chicken, it's been VERY dry and tasted like it was re-heated multiple times. This is very frustrating, considering the food isn't cheap. Today I attempted to place an order and I asked that the chicken be made fresh, because the last few times it's tasted like it was reheated multiple times. There was a long pause before the lady hung up on me. When I called back, she didn't answer. Reading through the reviews, I see this is something she does often. It's a shame, because when the food is fresh, it's good! But there have been times when we've paid $30 for very dry, obviously reheated food. They lost a long-time customer today.
We moved here from Clio back in 2021 and were sad there were no good, affordable Chinese restaurants within a reasonable distance, and then we tried Asian Gourmet and were sooooo happy to find it! The food is delicious and always hot, and the service is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! AMAZING! The food is great but I'd go back 1 million times just for the service
Returned the almond chicken because the sauce was so thick it was like jello. The woman at the counter gave me my money back but refused to let me get something I know I like and has tolde to never come back. This was the first and only time I had expressed that something wasn't good. Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Do NOT waste your money here. Everything tastes mediocre and under seasoned. It's in business because it's the only Chinese take out in Caro. Don't keep them in business, make room for a better Chinese take out that doesn't have RUDE owners
Not great after they went to takeout only. This was my combination plate plus a little piece of chicken and almond sauce (might as well just be salt) on the side. Pretty pricey for what i got. So much rice. Very little meat. A few sad undercooked veggies. Dissapointing. Terriaki chicken was tiny and so expensive. Crab rangoons were good. Egg roll not great.
I wasn’t sure if they had won ton and egg drop soup, or both.. so when I called, I asked “do you have won ton or egg drop soup?” The call immediately ended.. I tried to call again and call wouldn’t go through.. well it was on my way home from work so I decided to stop and just place my order in the restaurant since they weren’t picking up the phone. When I got there I told the woman “I was just on the phone with you I think we got disconnected.” And then her response was “no you don’t know what you want so I hang up.” And I tried to explain to her that’s rude and bad for business and she began yelling, and then so did I..
I live in Caro and will drive to baycity or sebewaing next time my 3 year old wants egg rolls and soup..
Thank you for dinner tonight! My whole family loves your food for a special treat. Best peanut butter chicken anywhere around! We also like the orange chicken, sesame chicken and Kung pao chicken. Trying the hunan beef tonight and it is wonderful, just the right amount of spice. See you again soon, I'm sure. The portions are very generous as well.
The food was pretty good. Definitely very fresh looking/tasting. I have to say I'm not a peas and carrots person in my fried rice but everyone seems to do this now. I added onions, tasty and thank you for the addition. I do miss the old style fried rice with bean sprouts though, it seems nobody does this anymore which is a tragedy. This place is pretty tasty no complaints on the general tso chicken.That was very very delicious!! Thank you! I will have to come in and try more.
