Roy is awesome! Honestly the only mechanic I've met that I actually trust. Each time I've taken my car to a different mechanic, I've had many issues but Roy is honest about everything going on with your car. If he's stumped, he will tell you and he won't charge you for extra labor if he doesn't know what the problem is. I really appreciate the shop
Don't want to slander so I will hold off on judgment as to why this place gets high reviews. Here is my experience: Took my Honda Odyssey in as it was running rough. They looked at it and told me I needed a new head gasket. Because of the research that I had done, I was dubious of that diagnosis for my year/mileage. I spoke with another mechanic who blasted their work and confirmed my suspicion that I simply need a vcm tuner. $70 part and a five minute plug-in "install" saved me thousands. I think they are well-intentioned and honest but not very knowledgable. My friend had a broken strut on hi car and they misdiagnosed it as an internal rattle. That just shows me sloppy/unknowledgeable diagnostic work. I won't be going back there, as their convenience and price on work is not worth it if its the wrong work in the first place.
Almost got hit by a car leaving your workshop. It was an employee because I saw his uniform. He didn't look and spd out on Lake street. I've been on Oak Park since 1978 and I know traffic has increased, but he didn't even look to see that a pedestrian was walking by.
They are honest and genuine. I was on the verge of getting scammed at a “professional dealership” on over 3k for repairs that “I needed”. I cut off the mechanics at the dealership, and Roy has gained a new loyal client.
Started the car in the AM and it was running very rough. I was able to drive it to Asian Domestic Authority with the hope it could be fixed same day. The problem was that the previous mechanic didn''t properly 'click' the new ignition coils in place. They were able to check all coils, and clean the spark plugs and the car was running like NEW. They were also nice enough to check my fluids and tire pressure. This team does great work, highly recommend !!
Best customer service ever, Roy and his crew are always giving his best to help their customers, honest service and price as well, when service is not necessary they tell you straight forward. I went to the dealership first and they wanted to charged me over $5k for a complete replacement of a Land Rover suspension system, when I took my car to Roy he immediately found out that it was only a $50 dollar seal! After that I wouldn't trust my vehicles to any other shop, they're the best!!!
Asian Domestic Authority is my go-to autoshop. Their rates are reasonable and Roy always gives it to me straight on repairs that are necessary vs ones I can wait on down the road. He puts a lot of care into the cars and the customers. I feel confident leaving my car in their hands and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for honest quality service.
I read reviews on everything and this place had nothing but good reviews and I’m happy to give my 5 stars ⭐️. Roy was helpful and timely. When my husband and I walked in he was already booked for the day and still took care of us. My timing belt was bad, engine coils and spark plugs. Also he fixed my tire and did a complete oil change for us. My car is running like a champ! Thank you guys! This was a stressful situation for me and you made the process easy and fast!
