The was okay at first but once I went to the hibachi is where things got bad, the same guy from the front came over to operate the hibachi station with out washing his hand and then he packed it with oil and sauce. After that I see the same guy taking up dishes. The staff wasn't that helpful besides the lady that was taken out drink orders she was nice . The sushi was dry like it's been there all day !!! I couldn't eat that at allll... I see why they get all the bad reviews and it's crazy cause they have the Potential to be great if they take care of a lot of stuff. Also it's not really hibachi so don't get fouled like we did!!!!
As it is a buffet, I will review each food I tried individually:
Braised Pork: This was really good! The skin was perfect and seasoned, not super greasy. It is sat in a sauce, which is a good topping.
Cheese Pizza: completely undercooked and flavorless. There was raw dough on everything but the crust. The cheese looks like it was warmed separately in the microwave and then placed on top.
General Tso Chicken: This was ok. The sauce is really good. The chicken itself was odd, the texture I can only describe as a "solid pudding."
Honey chicken: the sauce was overpowering, probably to try and mask how rancid and old the chicken was. If you taste something wrong, DO NOT EAT IT.
Loaded potato: There was something wrong, flavor-wise. It was somehow sweet(?). Potato itself was mostly raw.
Lo mein: noodles were also very sweet and mushy.
Mac and cheese: Again, for some reason, sweet and the cheese tasted very old.
I can not recommend this place for the food.
The staff was very kind and understanding. General atmosphere was pleasant.
The buffet is very beautiful and the food was great! I want to thank them for allowing my service dog in without any issues. The staff were very kind and professional.
The buffet is ok but I'm addicted to Gobi Mongolian Grill and the grill here is not even close to being worthy. If I was to rate just th grill I would give it 3 stars. I went again today 10/7/22. It was good, not very good. I wnt at like 2:30 so some temporary shortages are understandable. Their hibachi grill is not good,, see pics.. the raw ingredients aren't kept on ice, there's not enough, (i get the mussels from the buffet 1st.) Need more vegetables, more sauces, on ice, and cleaner, 1/2 of the grill was disgusting and the cook could not care less.
It’s definitely gone down hill from what I remember. I brought my husband (at the time fiancé) here and poor thing got sick. Waitress are nice but maybe I’m just holding onto a childhood memory of myself always coming here with family. Just not as appealing as it use to be.
Awesome place. Very clean however the bathroom was a bit dirty so that’s kind of why I gave the service 4 stars. However the food was prepared nicely and tasted really good and the atmosphere was lovely. Very quiet and everyone was very professional.
I give it 1 star because it doesn't give me the option to put 0. First the service was not that good, we had to stop to tell the servers so they could serve us and bring drinks. Second, the staff of the place does not show interest in taking care of the health of the clients when they are changing the food. As you can see in the photo the ripe bananas had a shrimp tail. And that wasn't the only food that was cross-contaminated. When I notify the staff, they just give me a dirty look and remove the shrimp tail from the tray with the same utensil they used to serve ripe plantains. I told them that this is cross contamination and I pointed out the other tray that had cross contamination and was the same thing. For this reason I say that they are not careful with the health of the clients. and the staff was on thier phone the whole time. This was during lunch time (2:53pm). I am a chef with 11 years of experience and I have a Food Safety Manager license.
I only selected one star because the review won't allow me to select ZERO! Don't eat at this disgusting buffet! I complained to the manager about the food being cold and aged and when they bought the new food out from the back they mixed it with the old food! GROSS! ????
