A first class proper butchers and in my own village too. High quality food including the usual meat products as well as a range of sandwiches made to order, and sweet pies tarts buns and cakes. Well worth a visit.
Brilliant butchers. lots of choice of meats for a really good price. I had the burgers and sausage what were lovely I also brought a hot large roll with bacon and egg which was delicious.
A gem of a find for fresh meat,chicken and bacon products. Not forgetting the bakewell tarts and freshly baked rolls. Other tasty products include cornish pasties and also corned beef pasties. P.S. don't tell to many people. Keep it a secret.
Great traditional village butchers shop with a warm welcoming & very pleasant service,always nice to visit this type of shop which we take for granted .My mum use to work here many many years ago & take me along when i was a tiny tot ,I still have a few vivid memories of playing with dough in the back bakery,50 years later on I'm stil using the shop as a customer, *Amazing *
Got 2 dinner guests coming bought 4 lamb steaks. Mmm got three and a small piece of fat with bit of lamb attached in the middle of packed meat...looks like i will be having sausage then .note to oneself buy from supermarket you can see what you are buying....lamb pies are good value but wont be going back.
We shop at Ashley Butchers every week and the meat and other foods are always very tasty and the prices very reasonable. There customer service is first class. The owners are very nice and friendly and go out of there way to accommodate . This butchers is the best one in this area
