These movers did not show up on move day. They did not return our calls or text messages. We needed to be out of our house the day Cory didn’t show up. We called five movers finally used college hunks who helped us out of this jam Cory, as of this writing, kept the deposit. I am think I may have been scammed. This company is unreliable
Corey helped us with a last minute booking as another company took our money and didn't show up for our move. He went out of his way to try and help us and we deeply appreciated his assistance. He was super professional and they did a great job. Thank you Corey!
My partner and I just moved to Asheville and had Asheville Moving Guys come help us unload. Corey responded promptly whenever I had questions and was very friendly. Once they got there, the guys helping us were very accommodating especially regarding which room to place furniture (my GF is of course always right). With their help it turned our move from a potential ordeal to a smooth and efficient couple of hours. Instead of spending the whole day unloading we were able to spend it making the apartment our home.
Corey and his moving company is top notch! We tried to engage Bruce Hensley with Local Guys Moving but they were very unprofessional and they wouldn’t give us an estimate. They just danced around the question of cost trying to pressure us into hiring them on a time and material basis. Fortunately this caused us to look further and we found Corey and Asheville Moving Guys. Corey was responsive and he gave us a ballpark estimate (high and low range) on the phone which turned out to be accurate when we were moved into the new house. They worked very hard and they had all of the right equipment and furniture padding to protect our belongings. We highly recommend Corey and Asheville Moving Guys and we would definitely use them again if we would ever need to move again in the future.
Set up to have them show up and help me load a uhaul, was told to call him on the way back from the u haul rental and they would meet me. Didn’t answer or call back and I had no help to load the furniture into a u haul I rented and only had the day to get loaded up. College hunks movers was able to help last minute, and were very professional, I would recommend calling them they will actually show up and not leave u hanging with no response.
Made an appointment for 10 days in the future with Corey. I tried to confirm with them the day before but did not hear back. The next day they messaged me 45 minutes before they were supposed to arrive to ask if they could arrive 2 hours later. It seemed like I didn't have a choice so I went with it. Almost 2 and 1/2 hours later I get a call that they can't make it and ask if they could do it tomorrow due to an emergency. Moving isn't really something that you can change on a dime like that and everything was packed up. They Said they would find somebody else. A guy called me a couple hours later and said that he would do it for more than double the cost of the original estimate. This whole thing was either a bait and switch or somebody who is not very good with business. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, look elsewhere.
We recently moved from North Carolina to Florida. Corey and his team were awesome! They were professional and extremely careful with our belongings. Reasonably price also. So glad we picked them to handle our move. We would gladly recommend them. Thank you again for making our move as easy as possible. George and Kim
Had a last minute need to move, was almost in tears since I couldn't find anyone to help over the holidays. Nobody would answer until I called their number.
I explained my situation and the moment they were free, they were on the way.
The best way I can describe this encounter is that I genuinely feel like I'm supporting a friend rather than a business.
Feeling safe while strangers move my belongings is very hard as my possessions are a connection to my life. These guys made me feel safe.
