Do NOT go to this facility if you run out of blood pressure medication. They will waste your time and money. They will treat you like your seeking narcotics and tell you they don't have the authority to write a prescription to get you through holidays. The Nurse practitioner on duty May 24, 2024 needs fired! If she can't help people with raised blood pressure that has a history of sudden death syndrome she has no business being in the position! This complaint will get addressed not just on social media. Like I said if I die my blood is on her hands. I wasn't asking for the whole script I needed some to get through the holiday as my refill script had expired. 4 pills she wouldn't even write to save a heart from being damaged.
My experience was great. All the staff were pleasant to talk to. Great bed side manors. The wait was no more than 5-10 minutes. It definitely beat waiting on the ER for hours.
went in to have two fingers x-rayed. After X-ray, I sat in my room for almost 2 hours, nobody even came in to check on me. I heard laughter, jokes, It appeared to me that they forgot about me, so I opened the door and went to the nurses station where there were about six people, and they all stopped laughing to look at me… awkward . I asked about the xray, they said they were still working on it. I sat and waited, in pain. Finally a doctor came, in a rush, with the finger splint for one finger and said the fingers broke in two places. I said what about the other finger because it’s a lot worse and he said nothing was wrong with it.
He said he was going to refer me to a hand specialist. I have not heard anything from them. regarding a referral. So I start calling this morning and they’re phone system must be down. I have been calling for over an hour and it keeps saying call failure.
I can’t say much went right with my care.
I was there too long.
i was forgotten about in my room.
I was in pain and was anxious about what was taking so long.
And now, I can’t get a hold of them by phone to ask about the referral.
I am very dissatisfied with the entire visit.
I won’t go back there if i need Urgent Care.
The ladies were all professional and polite. 5 stars to them! On the other hand the patient chair was broken, normally not a big deal. I was utterly exhausted and needed to lean back. The only blood pressure cuff did not work, after 6-8 attempts. They had to use a smaller one. Not ever sure that was correct. Advised I needed a chest exray but the machine was broken. Had to go the hospital and back to the facility. Ended up on the same room with a broken chair. Unable to provide a urine sample, after several attempts. No offer to cath. I was provided a antibiotic for the horrible UTI. That has greatly improved. I recently was bitten by a tick but that was my fault for not mentioning. I thought my symptoms were flu related. I do not know how those employees are going to administer to anyone with broken equipment. Those ladies deserve a gold star. Facility 0. Thank you, Patricia Tanner
I would give 1 star if not for the compassionate nurse and short wait time. Only 1 of my 3 concerns was addressed until I repeatedly stated my main concerns. After having to specifically ask for what I needed, 1 of my other complaints was addressed. Then, J. Bowen lied to me, not knowing I’m an experienced RN who knows the available medications. He told me to take a medication that has nothing to do with my symptoms and has been linked to dementia in order to benefit from a less severe side effect. My symptoms have actually gotten worse, but I would rather manage them at home than go back. If this is your only option, I would suggest taking someone with medical knowledge to advocate for the treatment of your symptoms and filter through the lies!
Best experience I’ve had at an urgent care. Made an appointment for 12:30pm and was seen and treated and on my way by 1pm. They were kind and compassionate and listened to my concerns and immediately sent my prescriptions to the pharmacy so I could start feeling better.
Check in was very quick. Nurse was vert through in asking for information. The Dr. confirmed my symptoms of vertigo and high blood pressure. He sent me to the ER for further tests.
It was easy to make an appointment online for that day. I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room long at all. All the staff was very friendly and professional. I will be going back to Ascension if another non emergency health issue comes up
