Stopped by today at 11AM for my second visit at this location. This is a very busy diner, that will have a steady stream of customers. Many people arrived to eat and pick up carryout while I was there. I met my Son and his work buddy for lunch today. Last visit I decided on the,“Navy Seal's Skillet” Which was Bacon, sausage, ham, skillet potatoes, fresh eggs*, cheese with peppers and onions and topped with gravy . All for - 10.99 I got my eggs scrambled and some sourdough toast. And a piping hot coffee, which was quite delicious. My total price for the meal, was $11.98 what a deal. This breakfast was very filling, and will stick to my ribs half the day. Today my son had the “Ham & Cheese omelette and a half order of biscuits and gravy with toast and orange juice. His friend and I had the Cheese Burger and French fries. I had a Pepsi and the friend had milk. 48.76$ minus tip. Service is quick, food is good with an ample portion of food. A meal here averages about 10 bucks what a great deal especially considering today’s economy. The place has ample seating, tables, booths, and diner seating. A place everyone can afford. Great little diner, highly recommend, nothing bad to say here. ????????
We stopped in for lunch, but I opted to have breakfast. Bacon was good, not overcooked or under done. My scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy. The Rubin was also very good and came with a generous amount of fries. Our server was extremely friendly and greeted us with a great smile and small talk. She was very professional and proficient. We observed her being the same way with everyone she interacted with. Nice place.
When you think of diner - think of this place! Generous portions of anything you order. We were a party of four during Sunday brunch and only had a 15 minute wait for a table. Xavier was very happy with his steak and eggs, the croissant breakfast sandwich and the bagel sandwich were made with fresh ingredients hot off the grill. The corned beef hash was well balanced and not too salty. Everything was so delicious!
I ordered German potato cakes with gravy and eggs, it was very good. My son had country fried steak and gravy, he liked his food too. It's sad that this area is going downhill because they have so much to lose. This area of town has so many nice restaurants and stores to shop in. I hope somebody can try to fix it before it gets bad.
First time there and the food was delicious! Waitress was great and a local flare! BLT was the best I’ve had in a very long time!
Uncomplicated and very tasty food, casual diner atmosphere. Staff really makes you feel like you’re at your own home. I am coming back for sure.
This place is a must if you love breakfast anytime of the day. The food was excellent. That cinnamon roll was a great dessert later on that evening. And that French toast was the BEST I've ever had. This will be a regular lunch spot for sure!
Took my BiL out for breakfast at Art's. We ordered from the Seniors menu. You know Seniors usually don't eat "heavy", so the smaller portions were just about right. Well, mebbe just a little more than I'd bargained for. Still really good. Excellent service. Plenty of fresh coffee to wash down the meal. BiL was impressed. I knew he would be.
