First time trying this place, and it didn't disappoint. We called to order for takeout they said 10min and we got there just in time and they were hot and ready. My boyfriend got a Bacon, egg and cheese burrito and requested extra crispy potato hasbrowns and he got it just like that, I ordered a Machaca burrito and it was huge and delicious as well. We recommend the red salsa, just the right amount of spiciness. Overall good place.
The chicken chimichanga was massive and fried to perfection. This place is both delicious and a great value! I highly recommend trying it out.
The food is pretty good but they always get my order wrong. It sucks after a 12hr day picking up a 20$ burrito, getting home and finding it's the opposite of what I asked for. Sorry Arrieros but I'm looking for a new Mexican restaurant. 2 times in a row my order has been wrong.
Have been there a few times. The employees are very helpful answering questions about the menu, they will customize an item and the food is made to order. Most importantly, the food tastes very good! Good ingredients big portions and yummy. I like it and will keep going back.
I grew up in San Diego eating Mexican food my whole life and Arrieros is one of the worse places I've ever eaten at. The Carne asada fries were just bad the meat was rubbery and tasted like it was old and we also got a a carne asada chimichanga that only had carne inside of a gross fried flower tortilla. I bought 1 order of carne asada and 1 carne asada chimichanga with a horchata and that cost me $27.35. Almost $30 for bad food. I recommend you not try this place.
Had the carne asada fries with my boyfriend, and they were pretty good. I've never had them with beans before, so they were easy more filling than expected. The guacamole was delicious and I don't normally like guacamole. The beans threw it off a bit, but as a filling meal, it hit the spot.
The salsa is delicious too! I added plenty of it.
The food is not what it used to be they give you big portions but the food is bland
Food and service is almost always on point. The setting and atmosphere is just ok.
