We used Aroma to cater for our anniversary celebrations at home. The food was wonderful! Wraps, sandwiches, pastas, traybakes and strawberry tarts. All lovely and freshly prepared. Loads to eat. The strawberry tarts deserve a special mention- the pastry was lovely, light and delicious. Great value, great service, great food. Couldn't ask for better.
Nice quiet little cafe. Really enjoyed my chicken panini after walking along the Irvine Valley Trail from Darvel. Huge teapot so we had loads of tea between the two of us.
Did the buffet food/tea coffee at the high bowling green yesterday for my sister's funeral. Everyone l spoke to loved it. The steak pies were amazing, but the wee meringue's, oh my, what a treat. Thank You
I was in here on 17 January 2023 for some coffee and some soup. The lentil soup was amongst the best I've had for a long time, maybe a bit thick for some people's liking certainly tasty.
I wasn't sure if the coffee to begin with, it was very strong, but I soon got used to the taste and enjoyed a lovely cappuccino.
It's not the biggest shop, however they have another premises in the nearby Balmoral Mill Shop, and I think I'm correct in saying that they have outdoor seating, although probably not a good idea to use that in January in Scotland.
All round, I enjoyed my visit here and will be back again.
This was the best experience! Thanks to the young man serving us, we were able to make connections to fulfill my 93 yo mother-in-law's dream of being in the church where her great grandmother was married in 1878 before emigrating to the US and raising a family in Ohio. It was a first trip to Scotland for all of us. The day in Galston was perfection.

Not only was the coffee amazing but the staff were also extra amazing. Always friendly and a big smile on their faces. If you're around pop in and pick up a cake or two as well. Th strawberry tarts are to die for! ????
Super coffee shop, friendly staff and very tasty food. I often pop in for lunch and love to try out the fresh home baking too. Always some lovely gift items & sticking fillers available also. X
