Not been to this fish and chip ship for a few years, and after trying tonight wow. Everything was fantastic and all cooked fresh and to order. We will be making every effort to start visiting this establishment alot more. 5????
Arnie's Fish and Chip Shop is located on a main road therefore easily found. Lots of parking spaces around if you have to drive. The staff were friendly and respectful, unlike some other chip shops in the area which don't seem to even give you a smile! The chips were excellent and I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to visit this shop.
I live just over the road from the chippy, so it's a local spot for me and I must say, I don't eat fish or meat much, but the chips and sausage dinners from here are absolutely awesome and it has since become my favourite fish and chips in Yorkshire. Alot of fish and chip shops are now run by Asians, and I've tried the food from some of these places and there is no love, or flavour or care in their cooking process which delivers overcooked chips and food poisoning. We are most lucky to have Arnie's fish and chips and I hope he's around for a long time yet! Staff are always fantastic and I'll be back this afternoon at opening ???? thank you for staying traditional guys!

We stopped here on an off chance visit to the area. The fishcakes actually tasted of fish (sometimes this isn't the case) and the chips were lovely. We'll definitely call again if we are out this way
