Gorgeous big house surrounded by amazing countryside.
The house is a great size, clean, and has everything you could need. Plenty of kitchenware, comfy seats, bathrooms, towels, etc. There are many beautiful walks in the immediate area, but Weymouth beach is only half an hour away if you wanted the sea.
The poole table and ping pong table are a great touch, and being on the farm was delightful even though the weather was not good. All round amazing
Stunning house in a beautiful location. Spacious rooms. Only thing I could recommend to owners is a new oven. Hard to cook for a lot of people. One section didn’t work at all and another didn’t heat up great
Lovely house, plenty of room for all 18 of our family. Children especially enjoy the hot tub. All requirements catered for in the kitchen with large lader fridge plus fridge freezer in dining room. Lots of walks on the door step although roads to get onto bridal paths so had to be extra vigilant with small children. Welcome cake was much appreciated ????. The only downside was that the second oven door had difficulty in staying shut. Would definitely stay here again ????
Beautiful house, beautiful views, beautiful cake. We stayed in the big house and there was more then enough room for all 17 of us. Wonderful big rooms and more then enough bathrooms for all of us. Lovely walks and even managed to see calf's being born. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
A group of us have been going to Armswell House or The Stables every July for the last 6/7 years.
A lovely place to stay in the middle of the countryside. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming and are nearby if needed.
Armswell House is a large lovely house with 7 bedrooms, numerous bathrooms, 2 lounges, dining room and separate large kitchen. Hot tub/games area in basement.Beautiful large garden with table and chairs to eat out. You are next to a working farm with lots of cows! which you are able to visit with permission. Great pubs within a short drive.
Next door is another 7 bedroom cottage "The Stables"...so perfect if you want 14 bedrooms for a large party!
Beautiful and well proportioned house and garden, with good cafe and gift shop. We took our 9 and 6 year old and they enjoyed that the house was more 'interactive' rather than everything being roped-off (a benefit of this also being a lived-in house), but they particularly enjoyed the magical garden, with nooks to hide-in, pooh sticks on the bridge, etc
It is such a beautiful house! It is next to a farm, the views are so beautiful. I cannot wait to go back
Remote, beautifully furnished, very tidy and clean.
Victoria sandwich cake on arrival was scrumptious and a perfect start.
Saw a three day old calf at the farm which was exciting for all of us.
