Stopped in the middle of nowhere at a caution line and saw this place . I was met with good service , excellent top shelf margarita ( that could have been larger for $13, js) . I ordered the birria tacos and they did not disappoint. Could have done without the rice and beans. They were not good. Everything else was top notch ! I highly recommend this place.
Had a great lunch here. Food came out very quickly. Everything was cooked just right and the way we asked. The bathroom was very clean. Service was a little slow once it got busy but other than that it was a good place to stop at!
Went into the restaurant sat down at a table had to wait 30 min for a menu got the drinks wrong they all tasted like dish soap. The orders were wrong. Forgot food that was supposed to be on the order. The waitress are to busy talking to each other to serve people and they weren't even busy. Over heard waitress cursing out other customers who's order must have been wrong. I've never seen such a bad experience in a Mexican restaurant I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone period.
Went to Armadillo Grill Friday night around 7 pm to celebrate a friend's birthday. After being there about 10 minutes we finally had to ask for chips and salsa. One of us had to ask for a drink 3 times before they brought it to her and when she finally got it it tasted like dish soap. After another 30 minutes passed we had to go ask the waitress if she had forgotten about us since our order still hadn't been taken. She was in the front of the restaurant talking and laughing with another employee. There were 8 of us in the group. When the food was brought out 2 of the orders were wrong. When we told the waitress about it she looked mad and like it was our fault. We had to go get our own silverware, napkins and my drink refill. When we went up front to complain we were cursed at and asked to leave. I am posting this on Facebook and every social media site that I can. I strongly believe the waitresses need to be fired. The waitresses were both young, one Hispanic and one white, the white woman was behind the register. I know alot of people in Coushatta and I'm spreading the word about what happened until the waitresses are fired. We also heard that the waitresses were laughing at the bad comments on line to the people that wrote them. I wish I could give a zero rating.
Absolute garbage place!
No service, had to ask multiple times for menus, had to ask multiple times for drinks, which were made incorrectly and tasted like dish soap. Wait-staff would not take order, kitchen would not make order. Even overheard staff cursing out a different group of customers. Would NOT recommend, and will never return.
Worst restaurant in Louisiana. Had to wait about an hour just to get menus and another hour for food, every drink order was wrong or forgotten or filled with dish soap, ignored the rest of the time and every food order was wrong. Finally got cussed out by the wait staff, then kicked us out without our food. Including myself, a diabetic who had already dosed insulin.
NEVER GO HERE.
Awesome food. Awesome service. Awesome place to eat! I absolutely love it!
