The drivers are really slow . They eat an drink while on the phone and driving . Now you do have those drivers that pay attention to their maps an get to their destination driving safe but the majority drives terrible . Breaking almost slamming into people , handling the personal business, stopping for food an drinks like this is most terrible idea if you have to work or get somewhere on time . I order a via as soon as they opened got booked for a 22 minute ride she got her in 44 minutes like wow sad sad case
This is my perspective from driving with thus company for 5 short months: The absolute Worst company I've ever worked for. No support for the drivers, app and pick up issues, no set rules or clear instructions or directives, and absolutely no clear concept of how employees/contractors should be treated. I am beyond thrilled to move on, if I choose to do rideshare in the future it will uber or Lyft. They come in last place
Drivers are very RUDE. I was told over and over again that this was a ride share because she accused me of entering the wrong address. After the third time of being lectured I told her she did not have to keep telling me the same thing over and over again, and she told me "I can put you out," so there was no way I was going to continue to with the ride. I stood up she opened the door and I walked about 8 blocks to get home. I was 66 at that time. Had to cross Pioneer Parkway. Never again. They need to train their drivers better.
The only thing that’s good about Via is the price.
GPS and pick up location are terrible, the drives are horrible and Rude they don’t show up in the time frame that that say because it’s always a delay and I only use Via to get home in the afternoon and it’s always takes up to an hour sometimes and I stay 15mins from my job but I guess you get what you pay for so it would be better to probably pay the extra $10 or $15 for an Uber or Lyft
This service is horrible. My granddaughter left a pair of $250 glasses in the via and I can only talk to people in the Phillipines who can't locate the driver partner. It's been 3 days and still can't get any assistance in locating the via driver.
Great price but my pick up locations from my apt are way too far. And you can't really expect them to get you to Centre Port station in time for your train. Sometimes there is a really long wait to get picked up. But, $3 to get to the train station as opposed to $20-$30 for an UBER one way speaks for its self.
On Wednesday,January 28th, I was provided a ride to the Dollar store on N. Collins in Arlington. There were no problems with the transportation there. However, I called for 2 hours trying to find a ride home to no avail. I was told there was no one to pick me up that afternoon. I had to call for a taxi to get home
This is puzzling since they kept telling me different times for pick up from 1:53 to 4:09 when I was informed there were no vehicles available. I am a 79 year old amputee and am confined to a wheelchair or scooter. To leave me stranded is cruel and inhumane. Please address this issue as I am dependent upon your service for transportation to appointments.
Services has gotten so poor. Drivers are rude and don't follow the rules of the road.one driver drove past me on mesquite when I called him he made a u turn and drove towards the traffic. He can't read street signs and understand them or understand English. I called dispatch to complain. I see nothing happened he's still driving. Don't know if I am spelling his name correct Elfiast. I like your services however it needs a re do. What ever you decide please stop hiring anybody with a driver's license. Just because they have a license don't mean they need to work with the public.
