A 'rest area' and welcome center with no access to a restroom at night is not very welcoming.
Apparently their closed off deck is their idea of a place to pee.
Nothing worse than completely worthless closed building posing as a rest stop.
Nice little stop off place for humans but pets are not welcome must remain on a leash and be in no proximity of the buildings. Also someone went to the trouble of building a very nice multiple level Pier to enjoy the river but it's closed and not accessible.
This beautiful lakeside welcome center offers a nice, air-conditioned retreat from this summer heat; the restrooms are always clean; the staff is helpful and very friendly. Enjoy a great view from the pier overlooking picturesque Lake Chicot, and find a myriad of brochures and information about sites and services around the state of Arkansas.

The guy inside was so friendly and Polite and gave us some information on different tour places.
Nice , and clean ????, however the parking lot is small, just because of the location.
